Personal Background
 

   

Born in London to an English father and an Austrian mother with family in England, Switzerland and Australia I spent my childhood under diverse cultural and linguistic influences. I moved to Germany in 1989 and am married with two children.
 

     
 

Education

I took my A-Levels at Westminster School in London in 1983 and went on to study at the Sorbonne University in Paris (Cours des Étrangers) and at Edinburgh University (Bachelors of Commerce with Honours in Business Studies and German).

I have 18 years experience in international banking:

I was awarded the Cambridge University CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) in 2006 by International House in London. Since then I have been offering numerous well-known companies and respected universities the valuable combination of wide-ranging practical business experience and language / training competence.

I am a member of the ELTAF (English Language Teachers Association Frankfurt) committee and responsible for the association's finances.
